I have not been overly fond of this song since the original song in the movie
Guddi was at a very high pitch with too little bass for my liking. But I unexpectedly had to learn this song and sing it for a show a few weeks back and I started appreciating the raga, Miyaan Ki Malhaar. So here's my attempt of a romantic melody in which a girl wishes for the monsoon clouds to carry her message to her lover.
PS: I know the widget doesn't suit the mood of the raag, but.... oh well... (I liked it too much) :-p!

should i post the video?
yeah, on youtube, as you were saying!!! :-P
Great singing!! As I said earlier, reverb could have been a wee bit lesser IMO.
Eagerly waiting for the video!! :D
Very beautiful!! As Sindhuja pointed out the reverb is a bit distracting and could have been toned down to showcase your voice better.
Yeah, I really need to look into getting the settings on my recording software and hardware right...!
I like how you sang is slower than the song in the movie. It gives the listener time to hear the notes completely....I think. Good job!
thanks Megha!
interesting take on this song! I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
